Burst that Mental Block

Mental block are really irritating. No matter what work we are doing but at times we reach a point from where there is no flow of thoughts. It is mind blockage and even taking out a single thought seems next to impossible task. This is the time when we need to start thinking after a pause but what most of us do is give up. Here if we apply some brains with patience then the problem can easily be solved.

Incubation Works:

The incubation is divided basically in four steps that include preparation, incubation, insight and verification. Once you are aware what you need to think then you should mentally prepare yourself to bring out new idea. After preparation you need to incubate. In this phase you stay calm and you apply no conscious effort to solve the problem and then comes the insight. It is proved that when you let your mind calm and do not stress it then only the best ideas come.

Resting:

It is important to rest your mind because a group of experts says that resting is highly helpful to think again over a particular topic. It freshens up your mind and gives you a different vertical to think. You come up with new ideas when your brain is fresh.

Breaking through:

A study says that unconscious thinking is crucial in incubation effect. Also, breaking through a mental block is important than mere a break. When you are working on a creative project then breaks can help you to come up with new ideas but here you really need to relax your mind instead of pushing it to think.

Stop Caring, Start Living

We all need attention for succeeding in life but what if you get negative attention. During  such times you need to stop caring about certain things. At times it becomes important to close your eyes and move further on the path just to avoid things that you don’t want to see. Through this blog you will get to know how you can move ahead dodging obstacles of life.

Stop caring about:

•    Everyone’s opinion:  when we are grown it hardly makes a difference that what others are saying. But during student life, it affects us the most. If you do not care about others opinion that you are determination and you can walk faster to your goal.

•    Being politically correct: At this phase of life the most important thing for you is to be true and genuine. No matter what other people might think of you when you utter the truth but ultimately it will give you a sense of confidence as what you are doing is right. Do not care at all about being politically correct.

•    Boundaries: even if you are great at your area but still there will be people who will try to tell you that whatever you are trying to do is impossible, funny or weird. At this time you need to be focused and do not care because flying does not see boundaries.

•    Being perfect: No one is perfect in this world. Everyone has a weak point. Even if you are lacking in something it does not mean that you cannot improve. Always remember when you are unaware you have a scope of learning and nothing is as amazing as being a student or a learner.

•    Mistakes: Mistakes are the ladder of learning. Make mistakes to learn more, if you care about them you might stop yourself for something that might be helpful to know or to learn.

Fight Stress and Unwanted Thoughts

Scientists believe that human mind has power to teleport. It can do anything. It gives us enthusiasm to think better and ideate. But the biggest problem most of us face is that we cannot control those negative thoughts. It makes us low and pulls us back from happy living. We can take control of this easily, what all we need to do is

Stay focused: Mind’s natural tendency is to wander over a lot of things. Try to keep your mind calm and even if it is distracted do not let it wander everywhere because it leads to sadness and suppresses the smooth functioning of brain.

Avoid Stress: We can never run away from stress. Numerous situations will arise when you might get stressed but like a wise man you need to control your thought process. It will help you to overtake even the most stressed situations.

Postpone thoughts: A study suggests that postponing the thoughts to a particular period of time can help one to overpower stress because the mind stays calm throughout the day and thinks at a one particular time. It also increases concentration power.

Meditate: Meditation is the best medication. It promotes an approach of compassion and non judgment towards to thoughts that affect the mind. It is helpful to take a hold on unwanted repetitive thoughts.

Start accepting: It has been proved that fighting unwanted thoughts leads to over thinking but at the same time accepting them can help you to control the stress level.

Look Confident in an Interview

A confident person can conquer all the hurdles of life. In corporate world it is important to be confident because most of the good decisions come from a confident mind. As a result all the interviewers look for a person who can handle the toughest situations with an ease. One should have a positive attitude in order to take over the job market. Here are certain tips through which you can look more confident in an interview:

Prepare well in advance: If you prepare for the interview well in advance then you are ready to face the questions that an interviewer might ask. It will instill a sense of self confidence in you. Practicing a mock interview with your friends can help you train well for it.

Dress smart: An interviewer first uses his visual cues. It will include your personal hygiene and clothes. While going to face an interview you should wear formal clothes. A suit might work. If you know you are carrying yourself well then you will feel confidence in you.

Eye contact: It is important to make eye contact with an interviewer to represent that you are not afraid to face his or her questions.

Body language: Body language is one of those things which an interviewer notices first. If you keep your body calm and composed then it can manifest your confidence to face an interview.

Talk on point: Do not over explain because it gives an impression of low confidence in proving your point. Keep your answers simple and straight.

Live Success by Killing the Poisons of Motivation

Get motivated every day, without motivation you can’t every live your success. Here we are listing you The Top 5 Poisons of Motivation, the ones that spoil your urge to get motivated. Find them out and make sure you do well.

1. Perfectionism
When you get caught up in ideals, you create resistance that gets in the way of your motivation. You’re stuck focusing on the ideal and think “If it’s not perfect, why bother?” We’re so addicted to this in our society. We feel that getting the best grades, getting the awards, getting all these accolades defines us and holds the basis of our self-worth. Thomas Edison invented 3,000 duds before he invented the light bulb. He himself did not call it failure. Instead, he said: “Any of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”Taking imperfect action is the best starting point.

2. Comparing yourself to others
This is another potent motivation-zapper. Even worse, it can prevent you from finding your own path. Motivation is truly personal. Study what motivates others as inspiration, but if it gets you stuck or moving backwards with doubt, then why bother? It’s easy to get lost in someone else’s life, wishing that it was your own. The universe made you perfect. Ignoring that and trying to emulate someone else is a slap in the face.

3. Thinking that you’re not ‘good enough’
We understand that in your work you have to show your abilities or your skills to prove you can deliver. But you shouldn’t rely on that for self-validation. If you’ve been told you’re not good enough, we understand the programming. It hurts and digs deep. But make no mistake: it’s a LIE. You have to be motivated to fulfill your soul’s desire, to create your own happiness, healing and harmony.

4. Doing too much at once.
Bitten off more than you can chew? That might be sabotaging your progress. You’ve got to pull back a little bit and really look at what’s going on. Don’t be a slave to your ego. If you feel that it’s too overwhelming, take one step at a time. Take baby steps that are the solution here to your goal, desire, or dream. Life will happen. It will always take more time, more money or more anything than you anticipated.

5. Excuses
There is always an excuse – why you can’t do it, why today it didn’t happen, how you’re going to do it tomorrow. When we find excuses for not doing things, we’re rebelling. We just want to stay in a comfort zone.

See how this comes up again?  A part of it is that your ego feels threatened by moving forward and wants to protect you. But really, you’re totally safe.  Try it, you may be surprised, and bust a limiting belief.

Boost up your Confidence and Face the Odds

Have you ever felt of doing something but have actually backed down due to the fact that you lack confidence? You must look at life like you had more confidence and felt more powerful. This would actually make you perform better at work, during a job interview or while giving a presentation. Get ready to learn a simple and proven technique that will boost up your confidence instantly. It's a big promise to be sure and not one you can make lightly. You might really hate hyperbole and promises of quick fixes and easy solutions, but once in a while you do come across something that really has the power to change lives but the end solution actually depends on you and your will power.

So what's the secret to a powerful performance? Preparation for sure, but don't make the mistake of thinking all you need is to be prepared. Even if you know your stuff inside and out, if you aren't confident you will fail to perform. You've seen this a thousand times -- the presentation where you focus more on the timid and awkward delivery than the message. There is no worse feeling than knowing you could have killed it if it hadn't been for your nerves, self-doubt or hesitation. When you get your shot, you have to be more than prepared. The real "X" factor that determines who gets the job and who performs the best, the promotion and other rewards in life is confidence. Since confidence is the magical pixie dust that can mean the difference between success and failure, you should spend just as much time on your mental game as you do on your work.

It’s up to you on what you will choose. Would you go by your grit power and confidence or slacken back brooding and feeling left out. Stand up with your confidence and face the odds.

Every Cloud has a Silver Lining

Many students live their educational lives in negativity which is there like a constant companion. For example, we would not think of telling a cancer patient to "get over it." We are told that we should not expect a person who is suffering from clinical depression to just "get over it." Yet, we find it difficult to endure and motivate students who see the world, not through rose-colored glasses, but foggy grey ones. That is the issue with many students who endure their own negativity. Many students just don't believe that the option is available to them. Those students need to begin the process gradually, placing themselves in controlled situations where the outcome is most likely to be beneficial.

Calmness breeds positivity, and a student can build his/her career from these small successes. One cannot get motivated unless one wants to be. So it is very necessary for all of you to look beyond the grey glasses and overcome your failure and lead on for a brighter future. Just because you are getting bad grades that don’t make you incapable of the fact that you cannot pursue your dreams. You have to trust yourself and make the best move. Studying all the time is never required, one just have to be concentrating in what they do. Similarly it is the duty of a teacher not to be biased towards a student and we stand by the rules. In the end a student must always remember that all they have to believe in is that they can do and achieve it.

How to Choose the Best Course for your Degree?

Choosing the perfect course for your graduation or post graduation is very necessary. Have you ever thought and wondered how important it is to choose your subjects because your future depends on the course you have taken for your career. MVN guides you on some guiding points which will make you choose the perfect course for your degree or rather help you in choosing the subject.

Firstly, find out the specific unit requirements of the college. It's important to know how many classes are requirements and how many are electives. Secondly, thumb through the course catalog and make a list of courses that interest you. Divide them into 3 categories: major, core and elective. Then choose core classes and classes for your major first, as these offers the least flexibility. Consider meeting with your advisor to find out which core classes you must take for the major or majors that interest you. Thirdly, choose electives once you know how many elective units you can take on the base of being the perfect alternatives to your core subjects and once you've chosen core and major classes.

You can also ask older students or your advisor about the professors who will be teaching the courses you're considering. Even the most fascinating-looking material can put you to sleep if the professor can't teach. Try sitting in on more classes than you'll end up taking, for at least the first few days of the term. This way you can see what you like before committing for an entire term. Lastly, drop the classes you don't like or need, and continue attending each class you find interesting, even if you are not yet enrolled.

In the end always remember that “Persistence pays off” and this will definitely give you a perfect platform for your future.

Some Thoughts to Live

Some thoughts, books change people’s view and thinking process. Here we are discussing about Gretchen Rubin’s happiness Project. In the book, the author takes a year to pursue happiness in the daily routine of her life as a wife, mother and writer in New York City. She realizes that happiness is just as much how you feel as what you do.

One point she stresses is doing some things every day. She says “The things you do every day take on a certain beauty, and provide a kind of invisible architecture to daily life.”Now just think about this being a generally happy person has a lot to do with what you do all day. So lately, one must examine the things that make them happy and realize which ones are task-oriented and need to be done every day. Also, one should write them down because if you don’t, they’ll get lost in the shuffle of life’s maintenance.

The 5 things one must do every day are:

1. Write your novel (doesn’t matter how many pages… just write something)
2. Play your guitar (doesn’t matter if you don’t own one), if you don’t just sing, sing, sing !!
3. Talk with God
4. Sit in silent
5. Exercise (be that walking, yoga or running)

After you do these, you will always feel refreshed and accomplished. Every good ordinary day you’ve ever had contains all five of these things. Plus, they are all small steps towards larger goals (i.e., finishing your novel and growing spiritually). One must figure what a great way to make every day a good day and get things done at the same time. So, what’s your “5 Things You Must Do Every Day” to maintain your happiness? Everyone’s is different. Write them down and make time for them in your daily routine.

Stay Motivated to be Successful in Future

Staying motivated is a struggle — our drive is constantly assaulted by negative thoughts and anxiety about the future. Everyone faces doubt and depression. What separates the highly successful is the ability to keep moving forward. There is nothing as difficult as being motivated. Even after beating it, the problem reappears at the first sign of failure. You need to understand your thoughts and how they drive your emotions. By learning how to nurture motivating thoughts, neutralize negative ones, and focus on the task at hand, you can pull yourself out of a slump before it gains momentum.

Here is a guideline for students to feel motivated always. The first motivation killer is a lack of confidence. When this happens to me, it’s usually because I’m focusing entirely on what I want and neglecting what I already have. When you only think about what you want, your mind creates explanations for why you aren’t getting it. This creates negative thoughts. Past failures, bad breaks, and personal weaknesses dominate your mind. In this state, you tend to make a bad impression, assume the worst about others, and lose self confidence. The second motivation killer is a lack of focus. How often do you focus on what you don’t want, rather than on a concrete goal? The problem with this type of thinking is that fear alone isn’t actionable. Instead of doing something about our fear, it feeds on itself and drains our motivation. The final piece in the motivational puzzle is direction. If focus means having an ultimate goal, direction is having a day-to-day strategy to achieve it. A lack of direction kills motivation because without an obvious next action we succumb to procrastination. STAY MOTIVATED.

Teamwork is Vital for Success

“Coming together is beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” Said by a man who went bankrupt five times before he went on to design a company which changed the way people travel: Henry Ford. And these words did not come out in a desperate attempt to answer a question on the hot seat. But because it he realized that it works –teamwork.

Here, at MVN University, we strive to make a better future for our students. For sure education is important. But it is a vast ocean; the education which is traditional to the curriculum and the education which each individual learns individually over experience are different in vital ways. The after hours of discussion on how to enhance their skills so as to learn this know-how, we noted down a few points; to let them discover themselves, to let them discover others, to use their skills, to enhance them and others’ as well, to develop and prepare themselves for the real rat race outside the gates of this university.

And thus, we emphasize on activities which require the engagement of more than one individual which forces them to be flexible and stiff from time to time as the situation changes, thus providing them with the simulation of the professional world. And with our state-of-the-art techniques and our expert faculties, we make sure that our students stand out of the crowd.

Why MBA is Preferable !!

MBA degree is spreading across like fire in today’s world. Even when trade and business practices have been in continuation since the beginning of mankind, the formal study of the company as a special field is relatively called MBA. MBA scholarships are very expensive and many students strive for it in rigorous way. When taking into consideration the study of firms in particular tuition waiver rarely institutions offering these studies are quite expensive.

The business is one of the most lucrative fields of study available and the possibility of winning is the highest here. The combination of a professional course with masters in business is the most sought after educational qualification. Companies seek for this qualification as it is the era of free trade and economic efficiency. A solid business foundation is essential, even after a professional degree because one must have marketing and presentation skills to get anywhere near the top. The courses are very expensive and striving for scholarships is very difficult.

The current economic trend is to fortune 500 companies, multinationals and large corporate and multinational banks. It is the dream of every student to reach the highest level in one of these companies. Your field of interest, be it the combination of fire insurance or be it science or art virtually guarantees you a job. This is a fast world and a person with this degree seems to go a long way. So come pursue MBA and make your life more meaningful.

How Internships in Engineering Helps You!!

You are pursuing engineering and want to make it big. But have you ever thought about the rigorous combination of work you will need to do to get placed in a good reputable company? Engineering is a field which requires a combination of both theoretical and practical knowledge. You are needed to apply what you learn from those big fat books. MVN takes numerous steps and measures steps to ensure that students get practical learning and learn how to use their learning in real life scenarios. But one thing that can give additional learning and help to students is internships. Internships are nothing but small work experiences given by companies and industries to help students learn the real processes and activities involved in the working of any company or industry.

These kinds of internships will give you a real life exposure. It will make you apply your theories and make you learn more about application. It is one of the most widely used techniques by colleges to push their students towards real life learning. Students not only learn more about what they learn in college but also get additional learning of things that are not taught in classrooms. This applies for every field of engineering and significantly enhances learning. Not only do internships help students in learning more, they also motivate students to do something big. When you see engineers carrying out impressive activities in real life and when you look at them coming up with new inventions and innovations, you also get motivated to work hard and reach that level.

There are certain things you should always be keen to follow. Don’t base your choices on the size of the company or the money they pay you for your internship. What is more important is what you are learning out of it and hence you should make sure you choose a company that is in sync with your interests and inclinations.

Rules to Achieve Success!!

To achieve you have to know your strengths, your beliefs, your thoughts. You should know how to act, how to keep account of yourself. Being a student is not easy, you have to thrive hard and look into the big picture. Self-improving is very-important. Here are certain rules to help you to your personal development.

Nourish Your Strengths! Do things that allow your brilliant intuition and service-oriented manner to flourish.

Face Your Weaknesses! See your weaknesses for what they are, and seek to overcome them. Especially, strive to use your judgment against your internal ideas and intuitions.

Talk Through Your Thoughts. You need to step through your intuitions in order to put them into perspective. Give yourself time to do this, and take advantage of discussing ideas with others.

Take in Everything. Don’t dismiss ideas prematurely because you don’t respect the person generating the ideas, or because you think you already know it all. After all, everybody has something to offer, and nobody knows everything.

When You Get Angry, You Lose. Your passion and intensity are strong assets, but can be very harmful if you allow yourself to fall into the “Anger Trap”. Remember that Anger is destructive to your personal relationships.

Keep Your Eye on the Big Picture Watch out for your tendency to become obsessed with details. If you find yourself feeling very, very strongly about a small detail, take a big step back and make sure that you can still see the goal.

Be Accountable for Yourself. Don’t blame the problems in your life on other people. Look inwardly for solutions. No one has more control over your life than you have.

Be Humble. Judge yourself at least as harshly as you judge others.

Assume the Best. Don’t distress yourself and others by dwelling on the dark side of everything. Just as there is a positive charge for every negative charge, there is a light side to every dark side. Remember that positive situations are created by positive attitudes. Expect the best, and the best will come forward.

Relax! Do yourself a favor and learn how to effectively unwind. Get exercise and restful sleep. Take vacations. Engage in relaxing activities.

Higher Education in India

Economic success and modernization of an economy depends upon the state of economy whether underdeveloped, developing or developed which again depends on the people living in those country and their level of education. As far as country like India is concerned which is in a developing phase, it is rushing towards economic success because of its high tech industries such as Information technology and bio technology to propel the nation to prosperity

Time has changes a lot when the economic success of a country use to be attained through cheap labors and low tech manufacturing but with the gradual change in the science and technology the mindset of people has also changed a lot and so the economic condition.

Now talking particularly about Indian educational sectors in 21st century, it is the 3rd largest in the world in term of students, after China and United States. Use of English as a primary language of higher education and research helps a lot student to work overseas. There are a number of institutes providing the quality education in various streams. These are either controlled by Central/State government or by a private institute but still if the stats of Indian education is compared with other countries it is lagging behind.

India educates about 10% of its young people where as other countries have more than 50%. China on the other hand has 15% of its young people in higher education.

If India want to get recognized among the research oriented universities it has to be done gradually, step by step. Country will need dozen or more universities that can compete internationally with the changing world. Without these universities, India is destined to remain a scientific backwater

Learning by Doing

Experience is the best way to have hands on practical learning. Classrooms may become mundane if only theoretical learning is delivered to students. It gives them the rough idea because bookish language is entirely different from what we execute on actual grounds. In order to facilitate this, a new method of teaching has been introduced to education domain which is ‘learning by doing’. This route of teaching cobbles the path of learning and makes academics simpler and interesting for students because students practically implement their theoretical knowledge. This method is designed in such a way that it increases students’ grasping power. In addition to this, they tend to take things more realistically in their professional life.

MVN University offers a wide range of engineering and management courses which all follow the same module of learning. Professors strive hard to make students go through this pattern. Hence they conduct classes in such a way that students start to ideate things more practically. It helps students to have a sense of critical thinking which includes thinking rationally, generating self awareness, opening minds, being disciplined and making sound judgments. The university makes it possible through seminars, workshops, conferences and training sessions, etc.

Because Your Uniform Speaks First

In this highly competitive world it is important for every one of us to stay prepared to face challenges that may arise every day. A self confident individual is always equipped to accept what comes to him. Apt knowledge and good dressing is the major source of confidence. In commercial world it is prominent for everyone to dress well and represent outstanding. One who is well dressed showcases seriousness, dedication and professionalism. Even you might have noticed that people wearing formals get more attention in the crowd and people take them more seriously.

Education in Today’s World

There was a time when education used to be the medium of merely imparting education among the students and most of the schools were government owned. People were less inclined towards education and more towards business. We can still see the same trend in small villages today. But the time has changed a lot since then because of good rise in number of schools today. Moreover at one side the society is benefited a lot from it, on the other side it has become a business for many educational institutes.

Today literacy rate of India is increasing but at the other end the colleges are charging good amount of money for the same. The quality of education is deteriorating day by day because students are unable to differentiate between a good and a bad college due to promotional measures adopted by every institute today. At one end there is college with excellent infrastructure facilities and highly experienced teaching staff on the other there are colleges in a single building running without any affiliation from universities.

The basic idea is to impart quality education keeping check on the mal practices. Government has already taken few initiatives for the same. Still, being a responsible citizen of the country we need to actively participate implementing these measure efficiently and effectively. Let’s hope to make our country with a 100% literacy rate some day.

Education and Technology

The only thing consistent about the time is that it will change. The same words apply to the traditional education system today. The education sector has undergone a drastic change since last decade. The reason for the same is the technological revolution in field of Information Technology.

With the modern devices like tablets, laptops and PDAs, the level of understanding of the people has increased drastically. The biggest advantage of these devices is the accessibility. With mobile devices the information sharing has become easier. People can communicate with each other comfortably sharing their knowledge. With the video conferencing facility the online lessons can be taken from experts thereby giving a more interactive and rich learning experience.

Information technology has changed the way of managing data and information in various educational institutes. Traditionally data was managed on paper and retrieving information from a bunch of documents was a Herculean task which has changed a lot by managing large databases where the query can be retrieved in few seconds.

E-commerce has contributed a lot in increasing the literacy rate of the country. The reason is use of multimedia applications and interactive software which has increased the level of understanding of people, for example audio and video component lessons help the student to engage directly with similar type of people thereby encouraging more students to participate in class and increase their level of understanding. Also it helps the disabled or disadvantaged students who were unable to study due to one or other reason.

E-commerce has made a significant contribution in imparting education through distance learning programs. A number of professionals who want to pursue courses like MBA undergo distant learning programs. So we see that how much e commerce has changed today’s educational framework. Realizing this we can expect some more miracles in the coming future.
