Higher Education in India

Economic success and modernization of an economy depends upon the state of economy whether underdeveloped, developing or developed which again depends on the people living in those country and their level of education. As far as country like India is concerned which is in a developing phase, it is rushing towards economic success because of its high tech industries such as Information technology and bio technology to propel the nation to prosperity

Time has changes a lot when the economic success of a country use to be attained through cheap labors and low tech manufacturing but with the gradual change in the science and technology the mindset of people has also changed a lot and so the economic condition.

Now talking particularly about Indian educational sectors in 21st century, it is the 3rd largest in the world in term of students, after China and United States. Use of English as a primary language of higher education and research helps a lot student to work overseas. There are a number of institutes providing the quality education in various streams. These are either controlled by Central/State government or by a private institute but still if the stats of Indian education is compared with other countries it is lagging behind.

India educates about 10% of its young people where as other countries have more than 50%. China on the other hand has 15% of its young people in higher education.

If India want to get recognized among the research oriented universities it has to be done gradually, step by step. Country will need dozen or more universities that can compete internationally with the changing world. Without these universities, India is destined to remain a scientific backwater

Learning by Doing

Experience is the best way to have hands on practical learning. Classrooms may become mundane if only theoretical learning is delivered to students. It gives them the rough idea because bookish language is entirely different from what we execute on actual grounds. In order to facilitate this, a new method of teaching has been introduced to education domain which is ‘learning by doing’. This route of teaching cobbles the path of learning and makes academics simpler and interesting for students because students practically implement their theoretical knowledge. This method is designed in such a way that it increases students’ grasping power. In addition to this, they tend to take things more realistically in their professional life.

MVN University offers a wide range of engineering and management courses which all follow the same module of learning. Professors strive hard to make students go through this pattern. Hence they conduct classes in such a way that students start to ideate things more practically. It helps students to have a sense of critical thinking which includes thinking rationally, generating self awareness, opening minds, being disciplined and making sound judgments. The university makes it possible through seminars, workshops, conferences and training sessions, etc.
